FAQs Getting involved
Parents and carers are the most important people in a young child’s life. At Fishbourne Pre-School, we want to work in partnership with parents and carers to enhance and support their work at this very significant stage of their child’s development. We do this by encouraging parents and carers to become actively involved in the Pre-School in a practical way, through joining the Management Committee or through fundraising.
Our Pre-School is managed by an elected parent-based Management Committee of up to 9 people who have a direct input into the direction of our children’s Pre-School. They ensure all parents are aware and involved in changes or plans at the Pre-School through regular communications. All of our Management Committee are registered with Ofsted and hold an Enhanced Disclosures (DBS). If you are interested in joining the Committee, and making a very real difference to your child's Pre-School, we meet twice a term, and would love to hear from you. Please email busadmin@fishbournepreschool.org.uk
Visiting the Pre-School
We encourage parents and visitors to come in and talk about their job, family customs, hobbies or language. We welcome visits from Fire Fighters, Nurses, Opticians, other local charities, Police Officers and Dentists, and many others.
